MANTO DRESS, 2021

A handwoven textile tribute to Manto Mavrogenous, a heroine of the Greek Revolution. The Manto Dress is created entirely on the loom and adorned with raw silk threads, produced in-house using traditional methods. A symbolic homage to feminine strength and national legacy.

Project Title: Under the Plate – Conscious Tableware
Commissioned by: Benaki Museum

A series of handwoven sous-plats exclusively created for the Benaki Museum. Crafted with care using minimal water and energy, these limited-edition linen pieces are woven on a traditional loom with metallic threads. The pattern echoes the stripes found on Asia Minor woven towels, reflecting cultural memory through sustainable design.

Project Title: Kalathaki Bag
In Cooperation With: Benaki Museum, NHMA Passementerie

Inspired by the tirovoli basket used in traditional Mykonian cheese-making, the Kalathaki Bag is made of Juncus plant and woven with precise artisanal technique. Created in collaboration with the NH.M.A. department of the Benaki Museum, only four pieces were crafted for the Benaki Pavilion at Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel—bridging heritage and contemporary design.
