FAYE CHATZI
A special collaboration brings together Faye Chatzi and the iconic footwear brand Ancient Greek Sandals, in a collection that honors Greek tradition through a contemporary lens.
The capsule features seven handcrafted sandal designs dedicated to Mykonos, where craftsmanship and storytelling meet. Each piece is adorned with woven details, created exclusively on a handloom in Faye Chatzi’s atelier, inspired by the Cycladic light and landscape. These unique textiles are seamlessly paired with the timeless, handmade sandals of Ancient Greek Sandals, resulting in designs that carry a distinct Myconian narrative.

FAYE CHATZI
The collaboration with KIMISOO is a creative dialogue between the art of weaving and the architecture of contemporary design. Through the KIMISOO x FAYE CHATZI capsule collection, tradition meets modern aesthetics, translating the harmony and geometry of the Doric order into clean lines, balanced forms, and timeless simplicity.
Each creation explores the relationship between structure and emotion — where the discipline of order meets the warmth of craftsmanship. Natural textures, tactile materials, and attention to detail act as a bridge between past and present, celebrating the essence of handmade artistry within a framework of architectural purity.
The KIMISOO x FAYE CHATZI collection is more than an aesthetic statement; it is an ode to balance, symmetry, and the enduring beauty that emerges when heritage is reimagined through a modern lens.
WOVEN FOR KALESMA MYKONOS
A Wish For Liight
Commissioned by KALESMA MYKONOS
A good luck charm inspired by the light of the Aegean and the tradition of Mykonos.
The natural, untreated Mykonian reed becomes the central axis upon which symbols of protection, strength, and good fortune are bound.
The handmade woven textile, crafted with metallic, cotton, and wool threads, carries the aura of traditional Aegean looms and encloses within it stories of summers, winds, and seaside life. The metal elements — the horse and the arrow — symbolize movement, freedom, and a dynamic journey toward the future, while the brass number 2026 embraces the new year with brightness and optimism. The fisherman’s net, a symbol of abundance and good luck, spreads across the composition like a protective blessing — a talisman against the evil eye, as guided by the wisdom of Cycladic tradition. The woven piece is filled with natural lavender potpourri, releasing a subtle, calming fragrance that evokes Aegean courtyards and sun-filled summers.
